Executives From 3 New York Shops Hired
NEW YORK–Ogilvy & Mather has made three senior appointments to expand its planning and strategic activities.
Tony Wright, Ogilvy’s chief strategy and planning officer, hired Andy Semons, a managing director at Shandwick Public Relations and before that a senior planner at DDB Worldwide in New York; Johann Wachs, head of planning at Saatchi & Saatchi’s Kids Connection unit and Tricia Russo, a senior planner at Angotti, Thomas, Hedge and previously a senior planner at TBWA/Chiat/Day, all in New York.
The trio will wear the title of planning directors, and work on major Ogilvy accounts as the “core client contact for planning,” said Wright.
