By now we’ve all come to expect the unexpected from Skittles advertising. This new ad from TBWA\Toronto has the bizarre sensibility of the award-winning U.S. ads we’ve grown to love. Not quite as strange as a singing bunny, but that won’t quiet this ad, one of three directed by Jim Hosking of OPC. The madness hinges on the tagline, “No handful is ever the same.” A boy bored at school puts a bunch of Skittles in his mouth and instantly disappears in a rainbow-colored cloud of smoke.
