CHICAGO Liggett-Stashower’s new leaders will continue to oversee their public relations and creative disciplines following president and CEO Terry McGovern’s retirement at year’s end, the agency said.

Mark Nylander, 51, will take over as CEO of the Cleveland independent and remains general manager of Liggett-Stashower Public Relations. David Moore, 45, who assumes the presidency, will also maintain direct oversight of the 20-member creative staff as creative director. Both appointments take effect Jan. 1.

Nylander and Moore succeed McGovern, 64, who has been with the agency since 1978 and has held both president and CEO titles since 1997.
