Northwest Airlines Gearing Up for Fall

ST. PAUL, MINN. - As talks between Northwest Airlines and its major unions for cost-saving concessions continue, the St. Paul-based airline is planning on launching a new campaign this fall to promote products. 'Northwest is likely to launch a new product campaign this fall,' said Craig Braasch, NW international advertising manager. In addition, Braasch said the airline will increase its advertising support for trans-Pacific routes, where NW is the No. 1 carrier. Fallon McElligott/Minneapolis and The Lane Agency/N.Y. handle Northwest's product and retail advertising.
