BOSTON Startup agency Make has been tapped by Nike for a design project, according to the client.

Portland, Maine-based Make, which was launched in September by former Fallon art directors Tom Riddle and Dan Bryant, is helping Nike “set the visual direction of retail” and will craft collateral elements including point-of-purchase materials, said Mitch Morse, a designer at the sneaker giant in Beaverton, Ore.

The first work is expected to break in January. Morse would not reveal details of creative strategy.
