– Sloves, IPG Settle Legal Dispute
NEW YORK–The Interpublic Group of Cos. has settled a lawsuit and parallel arbitration proceeding with former Lowe & Partners executive Marvin Sloves. The terms were not disclosed. For the past year, the two sides battled over the circumstances surrounding the shift of Mercedes-Benz’s $125 million U.S. ad account from Lowe to Omnicom Group’s Merkley Newman Harty.

LOS ANGELES–Former FCB Worldwide chief creative officer Gary Topolewski backed out of a deal to lead McCann-Erickson/A&L’s creative department and is heading instead to TBWA/Chiat/Day as executive creative director.
