Nissan Motor Corp. USA is looking for a new voice for the company–literally.
The Carson, Calif.-based automaker has started a national search for a voice that can be employed “across all levels of advertising” for its Nissan division, according to Brad Bradshaw, vice president of marketing.
Nissan, which has used actor Jonathan Pryce in past TV spots for its Infiniti luxury car division, is leaning toward an unknown voice rather than another celebrity, said Bradshaw. It’s unclear whether the person handling voiceover chores in three of Nissan’s recent model-specific TV spots–none other than ad executive Andy Berlin–will be considered for the job.
