NEW YORK – Sony Corp. is talking to a number of agencies about its software imaging division, called Sony Imagesoft, a new account worth close to $10 million, sources said last week.
Additionally, Sony looks to be setting the stage long-term for a consolidation of some or all of its marketing programs as it aims to tie its various divisions more closely.
At least a handful of New York agencies are pitching the software division, which markets video games compatible with Sega, Nintendo, and Sony’s own CD-Rom system.
