Stroh Brewery Co. will keep riding the wave of a favorable rating of its Old Milwaukee beer in the June 1996 issue of Consumer Reports with a broader pool of radio ads and an update of its “Turning Can” TV spot.
The ads, from W.B. Doner & Co. in Southfield, Mich., plus new package graphics, signal Detroit-based Stroh’s renewed investment in the sub-premium brand after its surprise win over 15 other lagers in last year’s Consumer Reports’ taste test.
