NEW YORK NBC became the first of the Big Three nets to allow a condom ad to run during primetime, when it granted permission last week to Church & Dwight to run a Trojan spot during Law and Order , the client said. The 30-second spot from Publicis’ The Kaplan Thaler Group, New York, also aired during WB’s Smallville last week. Other condom spots have aired later at night. The “Make a difference” ads stress HIV protection.
