NBC has given a 13-episode order to the BBC reality series “Dog Eat Dog.” The hourlong reality/game show hybrid pits six contestants against one another in various stunts and challenges (HR 4/25).

The key to becoming the “Top Dog” winner on “Dog” is to exploit the opposing contestants’ weaknesses. As such, the six contestants will spend 24 hours before the show living together in a situation where they are tested physically, mentally and emotionally. Once they move into the studio to begin the competition, the game goes through several rounds in which the contestants are asked to nominate the person among them who is most likely to fail the tests posed by the host.
