ATLANTA Drew Simpson, a former senior executive at Arbitron, has joined rival Navigauge as senior vice president of media, Navigauge said.

Simpson is responsible for product development, sales, marketing and service for Navigague, a 2-year-old Atlanta company that monitors radio listening patterns and sells the information to subscribers.

“Drew is a critical part of our executive team and an asset that can elevate Navigauge to its logical position in the marketplace,” said Tim Cobb, the company’s chief executive.
