BOSTON Mullen rings in the holiday season this week by breaking its first work for Gifts.com, a unit of interactive conglomerate IAC.
Spots voiced by Jenna Elfman, who co-starred in Dharma & Greg, use the tagline, "The easy way to find great gifts." One TV spot uses a fortune-teller scenario to help explain the service to consumers.
The work will air through year's end, mainly on NBC and Bravo programs. This represents the client's first mass-media consumer-focused campaign.
"Gifts.com is a fantastic service. The team was inspired thinking about the brand's possibilities, and we look forward to helping the company toward a successful holiday season," said Amy Hunt, senior vice president, group creative director at Mullen.
Amy Watt served as associate creative director on the campaign, working with copywriter Alison Hammer and art directors Tonya Merke and Rachel Guay. Kevin Smith directed the TV component of the effort.
The Wenham, Mass.-based Interpublic Group agency added the business about two months ago. There was no previous agency on the assignment.
Ad spending was not disclosed.
Gifts.com offers consumers personalized interactive shopping services to expedite and simplify the gift-giving process.
Mullen also works for IAC units such as Lendingtree.com and Match.com.
