In need of some good news after enduring a rough year in 2001, Mullen last week scored new business from wireless company Nextel Communications and eyeglass maker FosterGrant.

Mullen/LHC, in Winston-Salem, N.C., added an estimated $12 million in retail advertising chores from Nextel. And the shop’s headquarters office in Wenham, Mass., added a national assignment from eyeglass maker FosterGrant.

Mullen has been lead agency for Nextel since 1996, and the client’s estimated $110 million image account ranks as the Interpublic Group shop’s largest piece of business.
