Officials with Porsche Cars North America late last week confirmed rumors that general manager of marketing Joel Ewanick had resigned to accept a job with an undisclosed company. His departure comes as the Atlanta firm is reviewing the creative portion of its $15 million account.
Porsche representative Bob Carlson said that Ewanick’s desire to “pursue other opportunities” would not stall the review. Chief operating officer Richard Ford will oversee the process until a new marketing chief is named.
“That is such a key position,” Carlson said.
