CALIFORNIANeil Viserto joined Adlink in Los Angeles as vice president, Adlink Sports, a new post. He previously served as vice president, broadcast and marketing with the Washington Redskins.Craig Murray Productions, an advertising agency that specializes in trailer, TV and print campaigns, named Richard Redfield president and executive creative director. Redfield will be responsible for overseeing creatives, editors and graphic designers at CMP/ West in Los Angeles. He had been a creative director at Harley's House in Santa Monica, Calif., where he guided advertising efforts for films such as Ocean's Eleven, Austin Powers in Goldmember and Two Weeks Notice. Redfield replaces former CMP/West president Frank Chiocchi, who departed in March to be senior vice president of creative advertising for Universal Pictures.COLORADOJ. William Seccombe was named chief operating officer at Praco. He formerly served as vice president of advertising services at the agency. Praco has offices in both Colorado Springs and Denver.LOUISIANAKeating Magee Advertising promoted Tricia Davis to account executive from account coordinator. Davis will work on Sheraton New Orleans, Associated Grocers and Orthodontic Centers of America, among others. The New Orleans agency also promoted Carrie Schneider to art director from production artist.MASSACHUSETTSArnold named Bill McMullen vice president, group account director; he had been vice president, management supervisor. McMullen joined the agency's Toronto office in 1998, switching to the Boston headquarters two years later. Principally responsible for Volkswagen's retail and field operations, he also oversees work on Boston Market and Coors. In addition, Arnold promoted Don Lane to vice president, group account director; he had been vice president, management supervisor. Since joining the Havas agency in 1995, Lane has worked on accounts such as Franklin Sports, the Hartford and Stop & Shop. For the past five years, he has focused on the shop's flagship Volkswagen business. Lane and his team are working on marketing launches for two new VW models, the Touareg and Phaeton, following the debut last year of the Beetle convertible.Philip Johnson Associates named Robert Davis creative director. He will supervise a creative and production staff of 18 at the agency's Cambridge headquarters and San Francisco office, overseeing all creative work from the 28-person shop. Davis reports to president Philip Johnson and replaces Mike Connell, who left the shop last summer. Previously, Davis spent three years at New York marketing firm AnswerThink, where he worked on accounts such as IBM and Sony Electronics.MICHIGANDebbie Meister, Doner's associate media director, was promoted to vice president at the Detroit agency. Meister will be responsible for media duties for the La-Z-Boy, BF Goodrich Tires and American Kennel Club accounts.NEBRASKAAnderson Partners named Jodi Ross a partner in the Omaha agency. Ross serves as Anderson's director of office services, among other responsibilities. Previously, she spent more than nine years at the Bozell Group.NEW YORKAndrew Brenner and Joe Weinlick, formerly of Earle Palmer Brown, launched Iliad Interactive, a New York company focused on Web site design and development, and multimedia and interactive marketing. Previously, both men served on the executive management team of Odyssey Systems until its purchase by EPB. After the demise of EPB locally, they negotiated for their existing contracts and the URL iliad.com. Both serve as managing partners in their new venture.The Advertising Council named Kate Emanuel vice president of government affairs, a new position. She will be based in the organization's Washington office. Prior to joining the council, Emanuel worked in Congress for five and a half years, most recently as chief of staff for California congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard. The Ad Council is based in New York.Omnicom Group's Wolff Olins has appointed three new staffers to its New York office. Michelle Doll, formerly a program director at Enterprise IG, joins as an account director. Two new designers were also appointed: Andrew Wilson, previously a junior designer at Corporate Edge; and Henricus Kusbiantoro, formerly a junior designer at Chermayeff.NORTH CAROLINAJennings/The Agency added Holly Lipson as traffic coordinator. She arrives at the Chapel Hill shop from a stint as a freelance graphic designer. Previously, she worked at University Directories in Chapel Hill as graphics manager.OREGONLeopold Ketel & Partners hired Rob Morrison as an account director. He will manage three accounts: The Fournier Group, an insurance company; BiGHA Bikes, a startup company in Corvallis; and the Oregon Symphony. Morrison spent eight years with Leo Burnett USA in Chicago, where he most recently served as a vice president for the company, working on global accounts such as Nintendo, Johnnie Walker Scotch, Miller Lite, and Walt Disney theme parks. LK&P is based in Portland.TENNESSEESignature Advertising in Memphis recruited Thomas Lannan as director of account services. He formerly was vice president and key accounts manager at Health Communications. The shop also hired Michael Luedtke as interactive designer and programmer and Tabatha Pfeiffer as associate account manager.UTAHBoede & Partners promoted senior art director John Kiechle to associate creative director. He will work on Network Associates. Kiechle has worked on accounts such as Microsoft and Unisys at the Salt Lake City shop. Before joining Boede in 2001, Kiechle spent 13 years at Euro RSCG DSW Partners (now Euro RSCG Tatham Partners).VIRGINIAFormer Court TV executive Deirdre O'Grady was appointed vice president of pricing and operations for The Weather Channel and weather.com. She will report to Lyn Andrews, president of TWC Media Solutions, the sales division of Atlanta-based TWC. Operating from New York, O'Grady, a 12-year broadcasting- and cable-industry veteran, will oversee TWC's TV pricing, inventory management and commercial scheduling. Prior to joining the network, she was vice president of pricing, sales planning and traffic for Court TV. TWC, which reaches 85 million households in the U.S., is owned by Landmark Communications of Norfolk, Va.
