He previously served as a lobbyist in Washington, D.C. COLORADO The Solis Group in Denver has tapped Gary Krauss as director of account services. Prior to joining the agency, Krauss worked at Young & Rubicam as an account supervisor before becoming an advertising and marketing consultant. The Colorado Springs office of Praco Ltd. Public Relations and Advertising Co. has added Jennifer Levin as an account executive and Shilpa Bakre as account coordinator. McClain Finlon Advertising in Denver has promoted Cameron Bridges to associate creative director. NEVADA Dan Abdalla has been named account coordinator at Thomas Puckett Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations in Las Vegas. Envision Advertising & Marketing in Reno has tapped Nickie Price as senior art director. She previously worked as an independent graphic design consultant. NORTHERN CALIFORNIA Cathy Leiden, director of client services/strategic planning at LVL Advertising in Palo Alto, has resigned to take a marketing position at Palm Computing, an LVL client. Anderson & Lembke in San Francisco has tapped Jeremy Thomas as director of account planning. The shop also has hired Judyth Greenburgh as senior art director. Glen Sheehan has been selected as A&L's new interactive associate creative director. Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners West in San Francisco has hired Cheryl Friedman as account director. She previously was vice president/management supervisor at McCann-Erickson in San Francisco. Highway One in San Francisco has promoted Jennifer Fox to management supervisor. She will be responsible for Blue Cross of California and Data Broadcasting Corp. SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA Newport Beach-based Hilary Kaye Associates has named Mike Kilroy an account executive. The San Diego Convention & Visitors Bureau has tapped Kerri Verbeke Kapich as director of advertising and special projects. The bureau also has hired Joe Timko as national public relations manager. McCann-Erickson's Los Angeles office has promoted Beth Distel from vice president, associate media director, to vice president, group media director. Distel will continue to hold primary media responsibilities for all Nestle brands handled by the agency's Los Angeles office and for Six Flags Magic Mountain. Michael Fiedling has been named vice president. Kristin Anderson has been promoted to corporate communications and new business manager. Randi Marcus has been advanced to new media analyst. Colby Monet Arrington has been promoted to account executive in San Diego-based Capener, Matthews & Walcher's advertising division. Arrington previously worked as an assistant account executive at the agency. The shop has also hired Barbara Britain as a media coordinator. Oxford & Drozda Advertising in San Diego has tapped Aileen McManamon as director of new business development.
