Jamie Winters was hired by Decision Analyst, Arlington, as account executive for food and tourism accounts. Winters previously worked as senior project manager at another marketing research firm. Publicis/Bloom, Dallas, made several recent new hires. Miller/Shandwick Technologies, Dallas, added account executive Kelli Brockett to handle technology accounts such as Alcatel Data Networks. Brockett came over from Temerlin McClain Public Relations, Irving. Rives Carlberg, Houston, promoted Katy Couch to senior copywriter. Couch previously was associate creative director at the agency. Temerlin McClain, Irving, hired account executive Lisa Adams for the Just My Size and Spalding accounts; account supervisor Frank Kern to work on the J.C. Penney business; media planner John Kirk to serve Nortel Enterprise Networks, Terminix International and Bell Helicopter; art director Patrice Mozelewski for the American Airlines and GTE accounts; and account executive David Nourse, who was assigned to handle Nortel Enterprise Networks work. Friday's Hospitality Worldwide, Dallas, promoted Brooke Furness to director of frequency and database marketing and Amy Freshwater to director of public relations. Furness joined Friday's in 1996 as database marketing manager after serving as senior project manager at Carlson Marketing Group, Los Angeles. Since starting at Friday's in 1984, Freshwater has worked in several positions. ARKANSAS Stone & Ward, Little Rock, hired account executive Michele Shaw and designer Jennifer Crockett. Shaw will work on the Acxiom, Chenal Properties and Deltic Timber Corp. accounts, while Crockett will handle assignments for clients' collateral materials, newsletters, exhibits, merchandising and Internet home pages. The Audio Recording Corp. of Arkansas in Little Rock named Cindy Barnes administration director and Alan Helms as production director. Barnes has been with ARCA since 1987 when she joined to lead national marketing efforts. Helms joined as an engineer/producer in 1986. Blackwood/Martin & Associates, Fayetteville, added assistant print production manager Scott Allen and assistant account executive Brian Rudisill. Allen was creative coordinator at Point One Marketing Communications, Tulsa. Rudisill is a graduate of the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. LOUISIANA Peter A. Mayer Advertising, New Orleans, brought aboard Hunter Lange as account executive for the South Seas Resorts account, as well as Scott Couvillon as assistant account executive to work on the Delta Queen Steamboat Co. and St. Charles Vision accounts. NEW MEXICO Rick Johnson & Co., Albuquerque, has promoted James E. McKenna to executive vice president and Pamela L. Schneider to senior vice president/client services. McKenna and Schneider, as well as senior vice president/chief administrative officer Marge White, have all become shareholders in the company. John Savickas joined production company Thirty Second Street, Albuquerque, as manager of multimedia services. He will lead the development of CD-ROMs, Web sites, interactive kiosks and other new media. OKLAHOMA Kerry A. McGuire was hired by Butler & Butler Advertising, Marketing and Public Relations, Tulsa, as public relations account executive.
