TEXASHadeler Sullivan Ewing, Dallas, hired assistant account executive Ryan O'Neil and print producer Erika Hampton and promoted Mandi Kenvin to account executive. All three staff members will work on the VHA account, while Hampton and O'Neil will also handle assignments on the Priss Prints business. At sister company Hadeler White Public Relations, also in Dallas, Kendalyn Spillman arrived as an account executive in the franchising and healthcare division. Spillman will serve clients like Mail Boxes Etc., Ameritas Life Insurance Corp. and The Dwyer Group.Kim Worley, vice president of client services at Decision Analyst in Arlington, is the new president of the Dallas-Fort Worth chapter of the American Marketing Association. She has served as the 650-member chapter's president-elect since July 1996.John Dearborn was named executive vice president of sales and marketing at graphics software company Micrografx in Richardson. Now in charge of worldwide marketing initiatives, Dearborn previously managed domestic sales and marketing at the firm.Diagnostic Health Services, Dallas, tapped Mark Foley as vice president of sales and marketing. Foley was general manager of the diagnostic services division of National Medical Care.Jana Ketchum joined Stuart Bacon, Fort Worth, as production manager. Ketchum, who will handle traffic manager duties in the creative department as well, previously operated her own business, Ketchum Graphics.Witherspoon & Associates, Fort Worth, hired Alison Crouch as an assistant in the creative department, where her responsibilities will include proofreading, coordinating research and managing special projects. Crouch previously was a special sections reporter at The Business Press, also in Fort Worth.Kevin McAlea was promoted to vice president of marketing and business development at DTM Corp., Austin. McAlea, who moved up from director of process and material research, has been with DTM since 1993.Thrifty Car Rental, Tulsa, hired Tom DeNardin as vice president of marketing and sales. DeNardin, who arrived from Western Pacific Airlines, also has management experience with United Airlines, America West Airlines and Wein Air Alaska.Dwight Fletcher was appointed vice president of marketing for the newly launched Interactive Channel in Dallas. Fletcher, a former management supervisor at DDB Needham Dallas, will head operations in both the consumer and trade areas.Ryan Partnership Southwest, Dallas, recently added two new employees. Account director Rusty Brock, formerly with SmithKline Beecham, will work on all of Ryan Partnership's accounts, including Michelin and Galderma. Valerie Mosier was named account manager and will assist with the Minute Maid, Dannon and Galderma accounts. She is a recent MBA graduate of Southern Methodist University in Dallas.High-tech shop The Haney Group, Dallas, enlisted senior art director Kim Grable, art director Rock Morris, production artist Melinda Sanchez and traffic manager Todd Haney.Everest Publishing Co., based in Scottsdale, Ariz., named Alison Davis Curry director of sales and marketing for Texas and other regions.Toni Spigelmeyer was designated assistant vice president of investor and media relations at food-service firm Sysco Corp., Houston, effective June 30. She joined Sysco as director of corporate communications in 1988.Bromley, Aguilar & Associates, San Antonio, welcomed two staff members to its account services department. Field account representative April Davis, previously an account manager for Lubbock television stations KJTV-Channel 34 and KUPT-Channel 22, will work exclusively on the agency's Burger King business. Gilbert Casillas is a new account coordinator serving Bromley, Aguilar's Western Union account after working as a radio promotions director.In Irving, Medical Alliance recently appointed Mark Plotts vice president of marketing and business development. Plotts previously served as manager of gynecological marketing and new markets at Valleylab, part of the Pfizer Hospital Products Group.Belo Corp., Dallas, named Robert W. Mong Jr. executive vice president of its publishing division.
