MAINE
Garrand and Co. in Lewiston appointed Seth Minton as director of business development. Previously, he was director of national marketing at WQED, a public broadcasting television station in Pittsburgh.

MASSACHUSETTS
Arnold Communications in Boston promoted Barbara Clopper to assistant account executive from account coordinator. Kimberly Cannaliato was advanced to account coordinator from assistant account coordinator. Carol DiGiammarino was promoted to assistant account executive from traffic manager. Mary Jane Whiten was appointed facility operations manager.
Brian Hession joined Dickinson Direct in Braintree as a list coordinator. He had been in the list management department of Talbots in Hingham. Erin Fryar, a recent graduate of Providence College, was tapped as an account coordinator.
At McDougall Associates in Peabody, Janine Doucette and Jessica Mayo were promoted to junior account executives. Both were account coordinators. Amy Moore was advanced to assistant director of public relations. She was a senior account executive.
Steven Fielding was promoted to senior account executive at Dimond Communications Group in Boston.
Bridgeman Communications in Boston installed Josh Cutler as an account executive. He had been a legislative aide for the Massachusetts House of Representatives.
Jennifer Munn joined Clarke & Co. in Boston as group manager of the agency's healthcare division. She had been with Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Massachusetts in Boston. Christine Labaree, former director of communications and tobacco control at the American Cancer Society, was hired as a senior account executive. Tapped as account executives were Heather Knight Crone, from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, and Nichole Santoro, from Schwartz Communications in Wellesley. James Acton Jr., previously the communications coordinator at the Massachusetts Port Authority in Boston, was installed as an account supervisor. Sallie McGagh was promoted to vice president of the agency's business-to-business division.
Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos in Boston added Ken Matsubara, a former intern from Boston University, as a junior art director. Wade Devers joined as senior art director from Pagano Schenck & Kay in Boston. Karyn Ross, previously at Ingalls Advertising in Boston, was tapped as a Macintosh production artist. William McGarry was added as a network media buyer. He had been with Ammirati Puris Lintas in New York.
Ebson Griffin was tapped as sales manager at Unidigital/Boris in Boston. He had been sales manager at Robyn Color Lab in San Francisco.
Kelly/Dexter Advertising in Boston hired Lee Gustafson as a management supervisor. He had been an account supervisor at Arnold Communications in Boston. Juliet Gill, a recent graduate of Boston University, joined the agency as a receptionist.
Michael Aalto was tapped as a public relations senior account executive at the Castle Group in Boston. He had been in the public department at South Shore Hospital in South Weymouth.
Stacy Rodriguez joined as an account manager. She had been an account manager at Target Marketing and Promotions in Boston. At Berenson Isham & Partners in Boston, Anne Liddell was hired as associate creative director. She had been a senior art director at W.M. Mercer, a consulting company in Boston.
Ideate in Watertown added Anita Wolf as senior designer. She had been with Kurtzweil Applied Intelligence in Waltham. Hanh Luu was promoted to design associate from staff designer.

Cyr & Knowles in Portsmouth tapped Keith Dolan as marketing director. He had been a producer at Sean Tracey Associates, also in Portsmouth.

RHODE ISLAND
WPRI/WNAC in East Providence appointed Rob Ewert general sales manager for both television stations. Previously, he was local sales manager at WVIT and WTXX in Hartford, Conn.
