FCB Worldwide has promoted Richard Gagnon to executive vice president, media director of its New York office, reporting to Jeff Tarakajian, president, CEO of FCB New York. Gagnon, 38, previously ran FCBi, the agency’s direct marketing and interactive company, where he was senior vice president, media director. He replaces Ellen Oppenheim, who is taking a personal leave of absence. In his new role, Gagnon is responsible for supervising strategic media planning and development for FCB New York, including the shop’s advertising, direct marketing and interactive media activities for clients such as Merck, Kraft, Nabisco and Tropicana.
FCB Worldwide has also named Stuart Ross senior vice president, director of public relations for the New York agency.
