TEXAS Melanie Ford has joined Fogarty Klein Monroe as vice president and director of business development. Her duties at the Houston agency will involve providing strategic and developmental plans for the growth of existing accounts as well as new business. Ford worked previously at McCann-Erickson, Houston, where she was vice president and account director. Gallier & Wittenberg has hired Elise DeCleva as account executive. DeCleva joins the Dallas-based integrated marketing communications firm from the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, where she worked as community relations coordinator. Jane Brecunier, Angela Wyka and Heidi Nehring are new staffers at Patrick Henry Creative Promotions, Houston. Cartel Creativo has named Mario Aguilar account director. Aguilar previously worked at several other San Antonio agencies, including Inventiva and Sosa, Bromley, Aguilar & Associates. Desiree Lewek has been appointed account director. She previously held management positions at KJS (now GarciaLKS) and Montemayor y Asociados. Leslie Bowman has become traffic manager after working as traffic coordinator for Inventiva. A former Washington reporter and producer for Univision's Spanish television network, Lina del Roble has become lead bilingual copywriter at Cartel Creativo. Stuart Bacon Advertising & Public Relations, Fort Worth, has promoted assistant account executive Tracy Sturrock to account executive. Sturrock joined the agency a year ago after serving as an intern in the communications department of the Fort Worth Independent School District. Austin agency M2K has made eight appointments. Sam Romero was designated interactive director. Russ Newth is the new senior engagement manager. Senior Web producer Robert Pantoja Jr. has joined the shop after working as a Web consultant. John Hoemann has been appointed associate creative director and writer. Kara Samson, April Beasley and Crystal Cook were recruited as account executives and Lauren Sparer has come aboard as media coordinator. Austin shop T3 recently expanded its Internet operations department with the additions of Dan Issacs and Bryan Robison to its senior management team. Issacs will oversee the ad agency's interactive activities, while Robison becomes Web development manager. Bob Martin has joined the management ranks of MagRabbit.com, Austin, as vice president of sales and marketing. Martin arrives from Trilogy Software, where he served as director of e-commerce. NourzAds has appointed Carol Bailey senior account manager. Bailey comes to the Austin agency from Continental Airlines, where she served as senior advertising analyst in the carrier's marketing and sales division. OKLAHOMA Jordan Associates has welcomed Missy Moore as account executive. Deirdre Hite has also joined the Oklahoma City agency as public relations account executive. Donna Peterson has become media buyer and planner after performing the same role at Regian & Wilson/Grey Advertising in Fort Worth, Texas. Former accounting assistant for Whole Wheat Creative in Houston, Brenda Jones has been named assistant media buyer along with Jennifer Rainey. Recent owner of Arlan Graphics, Jennifer Arlan has been designated account executive along with John Pullen, who was a former marketing coordinator at Integris Health in Oklahoma City. Kelly Nelson, a former senior account executive at Electra Digital Design Studios, has been appointed account coordinator. Sharon Crawford has become administrative assistant. Julie Schwaighofer and David Grizzard have been chosen production artists. Christopher Sound & Vision, located in Tulsa, has hired Keith Gissendaner as interactive multimedia developer. Gissendaner will develop interactive digital content for various platforms as well as provide Web site design and maintenance. The Wallis Group has installed Susan Witt as public relations manager. She joins the Tulsa-based company from the National Association of Insurance Women, where she served as director of communications. ARKANSAS Thoma Thoma Creative has hired Matt McLeod as account manager. McLeod joins the Little Rock agency after five years at Dempsey Film Group, where he wrote, produced and managed broadcast projects. New positions at Sells/Clark, Little Rock, have been filled by Sandra Osher and Jana Frost. Osher, a former copywriter for agencies in Des Moines, Iowa; Toledo, Ohio; and Little Rock, as well as a freelance writer for Better Homes and Gardens, has signed with the agency as copywriter and broadcast producer. Frost becomes associate art director following stints at Dillards and At Home magazine. Jennifer Crockett has also joined the agency as art director.
