Adams & Knight, Avon, hired Mike Russo as a designer. Prior to joining Adams & Knight, Russo was a production artist in the creative department at Mintz & Hoke, Avon. He also worked at The Hartford Courant in its production department.

MASSACHUSETTS

Greenberg Seronick O'Leary & Partners, Boston, hired Dan Collins, formerly a media buyer at National Amusements in Dedham, as a media planner/buyer on the Spalding Golf and Shaw's Supermarket accounts; Kathleen Lamperez as a media assistant working on the Spalding account; and Aleni Pappas as an account coordinator.

Evergreen Solar, Waltham, appointed Rex D'Agostino vice president, marketing and sales. In this newly created position, D'Agostino will provide strategic direction and oversee international and domestic market development for Evergreen's solar energy products. Salary.com, Wellesley, an online compensation information Web site, hired Scott Brewitt as director of advertising. He was previously the advertising manager for HealthGate Data Corporation.

Digital Goods, Maynard, hired John Carroll as vice president of interactive marketing. His will drive sales of eBooks and other digital content available through Digital Goods. Previously, Carroll was vice president of marketing at Roxy.com.

Susanne Joyce and Alyssa Milazzo joined Cipriani Kremer Design, Boston, to serve as traffic supervisor and account executive, respectively. Joyce will oversee the workflow of all the accounts at the unit of Arnold. Cipriani Kremer's accounts include FleetBoston, Converse and Ecovate. Milazzo will work on the accounts of Brown Brothers Harriman, Massachusetts Financial Services and Trade Access.

WCVB-TV, Needham, promoted Caroline Waddel to media relations manager. Prior to her promotion, Waddel was the publicist for the ABC affiliate.

RHODE ISLAND

Jean Nicolazzo joined Mayer Creative of Providence as the project manager. She will guide and manage the production of printed materials for the advertising and design firm. Nicolazzo will also participate in the development and implementation of marketing plans.

Stephen White joined RDW Group, Providence, as vice president/senior account executive. White is responsible for servicing accounts in the medical, gaming, technology, building and construction fields. Before joining RDW Group, White was the manager for media relations and corporate communications for Gtech Corporation.

John J. Palumbo was named president and publisher of Rhode Island Monthly Communications, a magazine publishing company owned by the Providence Journal Company. Palumbo has served as publisher and general manager of the publishing unit since May 1997.

VERMONT

Jennifer Raleigh was promoted to art director at Lisaius Marketing, Burlington. She has been a designer with Lisaius for four years. Dana Murphy was promoted to creative services manager. Murphy will be responsible for production and trafficking of all design work for the agency.
