Paul DeBenedittis was promoted to senior vice president, program planning and scheduling for MTV: Music Television in New York. He formerly served as vice president of programming and scheduling, MTV.

The Coastal Group named Adam Gold executive vice president of business development. He arrives at the New York-based agency from the trade publication Giftware Business, where he served as publisher.

Cynthia Hudson will serve as chair of Burson-Marsteller’s global Public Affairs Practice. Richard Mintz, who was managing director in the practice, will succeed Hudson as U.S.
