NEW YORK

Saatchi & Saatchi's Conill Advertising hired Caleb Windover as media director at its New York headquarters; he was most recently co-founder and media director of Marketing Solutions Media Corp., a New York-based media com pany. In addition, Roberto Pedroso was pro moted to creative director at the agency; he previously served as associate creative director in New York. Both Windover and Pedroso will report to Nancy Pendas-Smith, president and CEO of Conill.

Magnet Communications appointed Lynn Schulman senior vice president, national crisis director; she was previously senior vice president. Based at the agency's New York headquarters, she is responsible for helping Magnet clients develop effective crisis-management plans, as well as counseling them through actual emergency situations. Magnet is part of Havas Advertising's Diversified Agencies Group, North America.

Creative Healthcare Solutions in Saratoga Springs tapped Robert DelGhiaccio as senior associate. He previously worked at companies that include Ethicon Endo-Surgery, Merck & Co. and Eli Lilly and Co.

Palio Communications hired five new staffers. John Tanzola was named senior vice president/media and strategic planning; prior to joining the Saratoga Springs-based shop, he was senior vice president, DTC media director for CommonHealth. Michelle Delaney was hired as account coordinator; she previously worked as an electronic data interchange implementation specialist at General Electric Information Services, Electronic Commerce Service Center. Ariane Milligi-Fuller joined as administrative assistant; she formerly worked as a legislative assistant/office manager for lobbying firm Bolton-St. Johns. Douglas Ordoñez arrived as account executive; he most recently was at Grey Healthcare. Peter O'Toole was appointed traffic coordinator; he previously served as national traffic coordinator at WNYT Channel 13.

Strategic Sports Group in New York named Sandy Rosenberg vice president, sales for Strategic Sports Properties, the agency's properties division. He will focus on new-business development at the division, which handles the New England Patriots and Carolina Panthers accounts.

John LaMarca has joined Parade magazine in New York as an advertising sales representative; he arrives from Hachette/Filipacchi magazines, where he was a senior account manager at Woman's Day. In addition, Diana Basso was named an advertising sales representative at Parade; she joins from the Meredith Corp., where she worked as pharmaceutical manager for Family Money magazine.

21st Century Marketing in Farmingdale promoted Lauren Morales to account executive, list brokerage. She previously served as list brokerage coordinator at the direct marketing and Internet- marketing media company.

MRA in Syracuse has promoted Marti Bledsoe to account executive/public relations writer; she joined the agency in 1999. In addition, Jeannine Davies was appointed public relations coordinator; she previously served as an assistant account executive. And Nick Prioletti was hired as an assistant account executive; he most recently worked at JSG Communications.

NEW JERSEY

PFS Marketwyse, an integrated advertising, communications and production agency based in Totowa, appointed Roger Wierbicki account executive to its sales force. Prior to joining the shop, he worked at Bernard Hodes, a recruitment-advertising agency in Saddlebrook.

The MWW Group, based in East Rutherford, hired Jeffery Walter as vice president/group director. He will share the Washington, D.C., office's management responsibilities and will help handle the firm's new-business development. Prior to joining MWW, he served as vice president of The Washington Group, where he was its Senate Republican lobbyist.

PENNSYLVANIA

Ken Geis was promoted to vice president of business development at CFM Direct in Philadelphia. He joined the marketing and consulting agency as senior account director in March 1999.

MARC USA/Pittsburgh promoted three members of its media team. Patty Gifford was elevated to media account supervisor; she joined the agency in 1995. Karen Laughrey was appointed media buyer and planner; she started at MARC in 1999 as a media buyer assigned to the Mellon Financial Corp., True Value Hardware and Rite Aid Pharmacies accounts. Christy Rodibaugh was promoted to media buyer; she joined the shop in 1998 and was named an assistant media buyer in 1999.

Kelly Michener appointed M. Steven Bortner public relations account supervisor. Before joining the Lancaster-based agency, he worked at The Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and the Penn State College of Medicine.
