TEXAS Chancellor Media, Irving, named Mark Masepohl to the newly created position of director of sales in Houston. Masepohl, who has been with Chancellor for nearly eight years, was director of sales at Chancellor's KTRH-AM and KBME-AM, both in Houston. Lesley Halpern joined the staff of Ha-Lo Marketing and Promotions, Dallas, as executive sales consultant after serving at ABC Networks, Dallas, as senior director of marketing. Ha-Lo also enlisted April Kline as data manager. Bromley, Aguilar & Associates, San Antonio, assigned Chris Escamilla and Elizabeth Guerrero to its promotions team. Escamilla will serve as assistant promotions manager for the Burger King and Sprint accounts, while Guerrero will work as a graphic designer on Coca-Cola and Western Union assignments. Temerlin McClain, Irving, recently added several staffers, including management supervisor Peggy Burt, account supervisors Kevin Brockenbrough, Tammy Edmiston, Caroline Bernstein, Mike White and John Lee and senior account executives Tanya Villarreal and Angela Wood. Also new are national account executive Patricia Burgos, account executives Dave Jenson and Jim Terry, broadcast producer Bill Kiernat and art buyer Eleanor Michal. Cathy Schmermund joined Fellers Marketing and Advertising in Houston as account executive. Schmermund was previously with Bold Creative Services, Houston, where she handled marketing and public relations editorial services. In Dallas, MigraTec welcomed Gwen Brantley, formerly of Texas Instruments, as director of sales and marketing for its recently introduced Year 2000 software product line. Regian & Wilson Advertising and Public Relations, Fort Worth, tapped Sylvia Ayala as account coordinator for the Texas Dairy Queen account, plus Marco Rosales as production artist. Ayala was formerly on the McDonald's account service team with Moroch & Associates, Dallas. Rosales was a junior art director at Gonzales Creative in Fort Worth. Griffith Phillips Creative in Dallas added designer Melissa Jewel from Fritz Industries, Dallas, and art director Jason Harskjold from LMS/Marc Advertising, also in Dallas. New arrivals at GSD&M in Austin are: senior art director Jesus Felix, from Rives Carlberg in Houston; senior writer Laura McCarley, formerly of Berry-Brown in Dallas; senior writer David Parson from The Arnold Agency in Richmond, Va.; copywriter Michael Buss, previously with Roche Macaulay & Partners Advertising in Toronto; senior writer Ray Longoria and senior art director Brian Edwards, both former employees at SicolaMartin in Austin; and senior media buyer Lisa Papa-Cragoe from Grey Advertising in New York. Papa-Cragoe will team with Ilene Rosett, a new media planner, at the agency's office in San Francisco. The company also hired Mark Hadley as a media assistant on its Southwestern Bell account. Williams Communications Solutions (formerly WilTel Communications) in Houston appointed James Greenway vice president of marketing. Greenway is responsible for product management and marketing, marketing communications and market development. The executive previously served as vice president of marketing at InfoGear Technology Corp. in Redwood City, Calif. EHR Design in San Antonio added John Walvoord as controller. Previously, Walvoord was at Agency Management Services, San Antonio. Michael Burch moved to Univision Network, based in Los Angeles, as a regional sales manager, handling all network sales for San Antonio, Houston and Austin. He will work at Univision's Dallas office. Michael A. Burns & Associates, Dallas, promoted senior account executive Roy Miller to account supervisor and account executive Jennifer Green to senior account executive. The firm also hired assistant account executive Brandon Robertson. TateAustin, Austin, hired account coordinator Melissa Verzwyvelt to work on Iomega and ThermoQuest and junior art director Robert Lin, a recent graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. Verzwyvelt was recently managing director of operations at Blue World Music in Austin. ARKANSAS Waymack & Crew, Little Rock, installed the following new personnel: Garrett Lakin as cameraman and director of photography; graphic artist Bo Collet; on-staff producer and projects coordinator Melissa Waymack; and Deanna Montgomery, who will handle traffic. The film and video firm also brought on Scott Smith to head new business development, customer relations and project coordination services. Heathcott Associates, Little Rock, promoted Scott Davis from traffic manager to account associate and April Heintz from communications coordinator to account associate. The agency also hired communications coordinator Heather Watkins. Kenneth Durham progressed from graphic artist to associate art director at The Alan Rothman Co., Little Rock. Sells/Clark, Little Rock, added Suzan Wittenburg to assume the newly created production manager's post and Jennifer Reed as production artist. Lisa Clark was designated traffic manager at the shop. LOUISIANA The Shaw Group in Baton Rouge tapped Christine Noel as director of investor relations and corporate communications. In that position, Noel will oversee all internal and external communications at the company. She will be directly responsible for all investor, analyst and media relations. Pat Lambrinos was named account executive at Deveney Communication in New Orleans. Lambrinos' responsibilities include managing strategic public relations assignments, marketing campaigns and promoting restaurants, hotels and interior designers. OKLAHOMA Kerr-McGee Corp., Oklahoma City, named Deborah Schramm manager of external communications. Schramm was an assistant in the Oklahoma City mayoral office prior to joining Kerr-McGee. She also has served as vice president of communications for the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce. Littlefield Marketing & Advertising in Tulsa advanced Trudy Perryman to traffic manager. Perryman previously served as the agency's traffic and production coordinator. Tulsa-based Brothers & Co. Advertising hired Dana Barrett as senior designer. Barrett was creative director at Walsh Associates, also in Tulsa, and was an art director at Ackerman McQueen's office in Oklahoma City.
