TEXAS Jaime Cabrera joined The Laster Group, El Paso, as writer and producer. Previously, Cabrera was editing coordinator at the KFOX-Channel 14 news department in El Paso. Harwood Marketing Group in Dallas hired account supervisor Christine Nelson, formerly marketing manager for Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Dallas; creative services manager Susan Riffle from Digital Print Imaging, Dallas; and account executives Lisa McGraw and Julie Pritchett. McGraw most recently was in public relations for a healthcare system in Ohio, while Pritchett is a former Dallas-based marketing coordinator for Susquehanna Radio Corp. Vollmer Public Relations, Houston, promoted account executive Judy Haveson to senior account executive. Haveson will oversee accounts for clients such as Travelocity, Event-Source and CompuBank. Susan Krivacic was appointed senior vice president of marketing and business development for Austin company Clinicor. Krivacic joins from Quintiles. Stan & Lou Advertising, Houston, recently hired four employees. New arrivals at the company are account manager Brett Schroeder from Black Rogers Sullivan Goodnight, Houston; art director August Kovach from Houston design firm Working Like a Dog; production manager Pat Smith, formerly of Champagne Fine Printing in Houston; and account coordinator Christy Archer, a recent graduate of Sam Houston State University in Huntsville. Editor Jim Eberle and sound designer Brent Marshall were hired by POV, an editing and visual effects shop in Houston. Eberle has spent the past eight years at post facilities in New York, Los Angeles and Dallas. Marshall arrived from Texas Video & Post in Houston. TateAustin, Austin, has promoted David Baker from account executive to vice president of client services. Baker's responsibilities include new business development. The shop also elevated Jack Taylor to vice president of public relations. Taylor, formerly public relations account executive, will continue to manage and develop programs for the department's technology client group. Cooksey/McGill Communications, Dallas, added senior account executive Brynn Bagot. Previously, Bagot was employed at Dallas shops Gallier and Wittenberg, and Richards/Gravelle. R.J. Kolar, Austin, has welcomed new account coordinator David Miller to handle 3M assignments. Miller was formerly with G-Tech, also in Austin. In addition, the company brought aboard LaDana Ard as office coordinator. Nathan Procknow was tapped as graphic designer at NourzAds in Elgin. Procknow is a recent graduate of The Art Institute of Houston. The University of Texas at Arlington appointed James Porchey to the advisory board of its masters marketing research degree program. Porchey is owner and chief executive officer of Porchey Research, located in St. Louis. Chancellor-owned AMFM Networks, located in Dallas, designated Susan Knoll senior manager of research and Robert Del Beveridge account executive. Patricia Mosley progressed to director of the Southwestern and Southern regions of Emmis Publishing National Sales (formerly Mediatex National Sales). Mosley, based in Dallas, is responsible for advertising sales for Texas Monthly, Atlanta Magazine, Cincinnati Magazine, Indianapolis Monthly and Los Angeles Magazine. The Atkins Agency, San Antonio, hired account manager Terri Angelico. Angelico has previously worked at The Thompson Agency and Anderson Advertising, both in San Antonio. Monica Hildebrand was named vice president and director of communications for FelCor Suite Hotels in Irving. Hildebrand arrived from Promus Hotel Corp. in Memphis, Tenn., where she was manager of corporate communications. Big Fish Films, Dallas, signed Leslie McCullough as vice president and executive producer. McCullough joins Big Fish from GTE VisNet public affairs and communications in Irving, where she served as national account manager. Texas Monthly installed Lisa Palmisano Gerardi as manager of the Dallas sales office of the magazine. Gerardi, who served two years as account executive there, was previously a national sales representative with The Dallas Morning News. ARKANSAS Brian Kratkiewicz, media director of Cranford Johnson Robinson Woods in Little Rock, was elected vice president and a member of the agency's advisory board. He joined CJRW last fall after a stint as media services and entertainment manager at Taco Bell Corp. in Irvine, Calif. OKLAHOMA Bullseye Database Marketing, Tulsa, hired Ruby Dove as graphic artist and Barbara Lacey as service bureau manager.
