She was previously director of marketing at Jiffy Lube and Midas. Denise Draper was hired as client services manager. She had been an account manager at Phoenix shop E.B. Lane & Associates. A COLORADO Heidi Buesing joined Praco Ltd., Colorado Springs, as an assistant media planner/buyer. A NEVADA Quillin & Co. Advertising and Public Relations, Las Vegas, hired Geoff Jenkins and Philip Norbert as creative director and associate creative director, respectively. The advertising and public relations shop also hired Emmanuel Martirez as copywriter and Jack Collins as graphic designer. The Rose Glenn Group, Reno, hired Zita Berger and Jennifer Jochim as account coordinators. Harrah's Entertainment, Las Vegas, hired Amanda Totaro, formerly senior director of advertising at Hill & Knowlton, New York, as senior director of advertising. A NORTHERN CALIFORNIA J. Walter Thompson/West, San Francisco, promoted two senior partners. Former deputy creative director Greg Rowan was elevated to creative director, and former deputy media director Maya Cody was named brand communications director. Robert Celsi and Gary Glass were both promoted to senior director of marketing at Trinchero Family Estates, St. Helena, owners of the Sutter Home winery. Music and sound design casting company When Two Worlds Collide Management, Kentfield, hired four new associates: Cathy Pruzan, Janice Lee, Katrina Markarian and Elise Antoni. A SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA Saatchi & Saatchi Los Angeles named Neal Foard creative director of its youth group. Foard recently returned to the U.S. after two years as executive creative director of Bates Hong Kong. Scott Griest joined the agency as management supervisor, and Nathan Hackstock joined as associate creative director in the interactive department. Pittard Sullivan, Culver City, named Jennifer Burns to the new position of vice president, strategy and planning. She had been vice president of marketing at The Jim Henson Co. Matthews/Mark, San Diego, has added six new staffers. Joining its media department are media supervisor Wendy Hutchison and media assistants Wendy Alers and Erica Cronk. Jonathan Dupuis and Damir Seferovic were named assistant account executives, and Cara Smith was appointed account coordinator. E! Online, Los Angeles, promoted Jill Higson to vice president, ad sales, from her previous position as national sales director. Disney/ABC Cable Networks, Burbank, named Adam Sanderson senior vice president of marketing. Sanderson had held a similar position at the Disney Channel. Fox Family Channel, Los Angeles, promoted Joel Andryc to executive vice president, kids programming and development. Entertainment on-demand broadband network Intertainer, Culver City, promoted Steve Schein to senior vice president of corporate development and strategic planning. He had been vice president of strategic planning. BDS Marketing, Irvine, named Beverly Ham chairman and Mark Dean president and chief operating officer.
