NEW YORK Gotham Inc. in New York added Courtney Day as executive vice president and group account director and Monte Matthews as senior vice president and creative director. Most recently, Day was with D'Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles and Matthews freelanced for a number of agencies as a creative director. Debra Brown, former executive vice president and managing director on the Viacom account at Young & Rubicam, joined JWT Direct in New York as managing director. JWT Direct also promoted Richard Fisher to executive vice president and chief creative officer, from senior partner and creative director, a title he has held at the agency for the last five years. Grey Healthcare Group, New York, installed Jane Parker as president of Grey Healthcare Group Advertising. Most recently, Parker was executive vice president and director of client services at Saatchi & Saatchi Klemtner Healthcare. Andy Sareyan, former vice president of consumer marketing at Entertainment Weekly, was appointed associate publisher of consumer marketing and development at InStyle magazine in New York. Ryan Drossman & Partners promoted art director Garry McKinley to vice president, associate creative director and account executive Kevin King to account supervisor. The New York agency also enlisted Kimberly Samskin as copywriter. Kim Goldsmith-N'Diaye, who was director of corporate marketing at Prudential Healthcare, joined Bell Atlantic's marketing communications department in New York as executive director of brand management and corporate advertising. Albany-based Media Logic elevated Denise Carney-Jones to senior account executive, Crystal Fournier to account executive and Carmela Pasquarella to executive assistant. Peggy Gilbride was hired as a staff accountant at the agency. Mike Wade, former senior account executive at Cohn & Wolfe, arrived at ESPN's New York office as corporate communications manager. Playboy Enterprises in New York named Alison Raleigh administrator of college marketing, a new position. Margaret Farley and Doris Astor moved up to senior vice president, director of strategic planning and account director, respectively, at PResence/Euro RSCG in New York. Forbes Inc. in New York selected Susannah Hayes marketing manager of Forbes FYI. Hayes succeeds Elizabeth McCullough, who advanced to marketing director of American Heritage magazine. J. Brian Gault, former vice president of corporate sales development at Cablevision, was promoted to vice president of operations at Rainbow Advertising Sales Corp. in Woodbury. Reed Elsevier in New York appointed Matthew Tucker director of Internet sales and marketing for its entertainment, communications and media division. George Irish, a vice president and director of The Hearst Corp. in New York, was named general manager of Hearst Newspapers. Irish succeeds Robert Danzig, who retired after heading Hearst Newspapers for 20 years. KWE Associates, New York, added the title of director of media strategy to Meryl Pearlstein's role as account supervisor. Brian Graden became executive vice president of programming at MTV in New York. Times Mirror Magazines, New York, shifted Yachting advertising director Ed Baker to the same role at Verge. Suzanne Donohue, a former sales representative for Ladies' Home Journal, assumed the same position at Entertainment Weekly in New York. Sanna Mattson MacLeod Advertising in Smithtown assigned Bernie Zlotnick to its consumer division as creative director. CONNECTICUT Barry Blau & Partners, Wilton, added Mark Toner as senior vice president and director of marketing. Holly Hansen progressed to director of print production at North Castle Partners, Stamford. Corporate Branding Partnership, Stamford, designated Gerald Berliner executive creative director. Karen Kingsley and Jeff White were named group director and account manager, respectively, at BEN Marketing Group, Stamford. Source Marketing, Westport, appointed Steve Wolf associate creative director. Wolf was most recently with Louis London, Minneapolis, in a similar position. DELAWARE Marianne Croze, who served as vice president and management supervisor at Devon Direct Marketing & Advertising in Berwyn, Pa., established Croze & Co., a direct marketing consultancy located in Wilmington. NEW JERSEY Harrison Wilson & Associates in Parsippany welcomed five new staffers: vice president and group program supervisor Spencer Reese, account executive Aileen Florio, art director Richard Montminy, production manager Steven Newdorf and copy coordinator Craig Black. PENNSYLVANIA Altus Group, Philadelphia, assigned Michele Walsh to its strategic services unit as senior account executive. Kevin Clarkin moved up to senior account executive at James Bunting Advertising, Lancaster. Impax Marketing Communications, Philadelphia, elected Barbara Salerno president. Previously, Salerno was vice president of national advertising and broadcast at Estee Lauder in New York. Bill Wiles advanced to senior art director at Horsham-based Dudnyk Healthcare Group.
