COLORADO Praco Public Relations and Advertising hired Jill Richardi as advertising account coordinator for its Colorado Springs office. Joseph C. Campbell joined The Expert Marketplace in Englewood as vice president, brand and new business development. NORTHERN CALIFORNIA KSTS-TV, the San Jose affiliate of Telemundo, added Victor Lucero as an account executive. The Corsi Agency, San Francisco, promoted Kelly Christenson to account supervisor and hired Julie Coari as account supervisor and Kristi Yim as account executive. Goldberg Moser O'Neill in San Francisco hired seven new staff members: Kelly Niland, senior art director; Julie Spund, print production manager; Christina Babbits, Keyvan Hajiani, Andy Read and Eamon Gavin, assistant media planners; and Shawn Williamson, media estimator. The agency also promoted Rich Wakefield to associate creative director, Clark Katayama to media supervisor and Sue Crosby to account executive in the media merchandising division. OREGON Candace Gonzales was appointed marketing director for KINK radio in Portland. SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA Evans, Hardy & Young in Santa Barbara hired Tonya Murphy as a media buyer on its Chi-Chi's Restaurants, California Egg Commission and Sizzler Restaurants accounts, among others. The agency also added Julia Oxford as account supervisor on Chi-Chi's. Tim Spengler was promoted to senior vice president/general manager of national television at Western International Media in Los Angeles. Spengler succeeds Bill Croasdale, who is moving into a new corporate position, the office of the president. Strategies, a Costa Mesa-based marketing communications agency, named Shanta Fisher production manager of print, advertising and multimedia services. Towne, a Santa Ana-based provider of direct response marketing communications services, hired James W. Obermayer as its new vice president of sales and marketing. MTV Networks in Santa Monica appointed Alex Maghen to the newly created position of vice president, interactive technology, and promoted Meg Lowe to director, marketing development. Catherine Finkelstaedt was named executive producer of A Band Apart Music Videos in Los Angeles. In her new position, Finkelstaedt will oversee projects through the company's Los Angeles and New York offices. Separately, the shop has also signed two new directors, McG and Cameron Casey. Matthews/Mark, an integrated marketing communications agency based in San Diego, has added three new employees: Molly Powers joined as an account supervisor, Christy Flores as a production artist and John Grimshaw as an associate media director. Graying & Balding, Santa Monica, hired David Lebovitz as a digital effects artist. The Blaze Co., a Venice-based marketing communications and public relations firm, added two new staffers. Cameron Andrews joined as a senior account supervisor, and Stacy Gold as an account executive. The Townsend Agency, a full-service marketing firm in San Diego, promoted Sue Hetzel to vice president overseeing the development and implementation of high-tech public relations and advertising programs. 525 Post Production Studios in Hollywood appointed Jeff Rosen director of marketing and added visual effects producer Alix Eglis to its production staff. The Joneses, a new production house in Santa Monica, signed directors Scotty Bergstein and Tom Finerty. Fruehling Communications in San Diego hired Mar Muyco as art director. Media Dimensions, a San Diego-based marketing communications agency, hired Donna St. Jean Conti as account manager for its Irvine office. Greenlight Marketing & Communications in Newport Beach hired Aleta Walther as a public relations account executive. Craig E. Miller was promoted to western sales director at James G. Elliott Co. in Los Angeles. Creative Domain Design in Hollywood named Stephen Klippenstein and Cari Abraham senior art directors. Saatchi & Saatchi's Los Angeles office hired Jennifer Moore as assistant account executive in its interactive department. Laura Needham joined Roni Hicks & Associates in San Diego as an account executive. Wayne Fickinger joined the Advisory Council for PhaseOne, a Los Angeles-based early-stage advertising research company. Hollywood-based Soundelux named Cynthia Silorey vice president of sales and Dominique Luchart vice president of creative and marketing services. WASHINGTON Palazzo deMix, a Seattle-based communications design firm, appointed Joy Aldrich as art director. Duane Tornquist joined Bad Animals/Seattle as an account manager. Pinnacle Studios in Seattle appointed Greg Vernon to a newly created post of senior account executive for postproduction. In the position, Vernon will head the marketing of Pinnacle's postproduction division.
