Gugel Advertising, Dallas, added Jeane Byrne, formerly assistant media planner at D'Arcy, Masius, Benton & Bowles in New York, as planning coordinator. Read-Poland Associates, Houston, named Laura Ehrlich senior account executive and Scott Bender account executive. Previously, Ehrlich was marketing director for Sharpstown Mall and Bender was a senior public relations representative at M/C/C in Dallas. Ogilvy & Mather, Houston, enlisted assistant account executive Jeff Mizeur for its Shell retail account. BBDO, Houston, promoted writer Robert Campbell to senior writer and account coordinator Cindy Bowell to assistant account executive. Michelle Ramirez and Holly Taylor joined The Quest Business Agency, Houston, as account executives. Ramirez was special events representative at Six Flags Houston, and Taylor was account executive at Foley's department store in Houston. Tim Roberts progressed to vice president and general manager of Wieck Photo DataBase, Dallas. The Sabre Group, Fort Worth, advanced senior director of marketing Carla Harris to vice president of marketing services in its information technology division. Intellicell of Chatsworth, Calif., named Michael King vice president of marketing and business development. King will be based in the newly opened Dallas office. Brian Putsche arrived at Martin Reed Advertising Design, San Antonio, as a graphic artist. Dallas design studio DAM Creative recruited designer Matthew Mollet from TLP, also in Dallas. Mollet is a former DAM staffer. HK&P Marketing Communications, Houston, hired William Andrew Jackson as senior account supervisor.
