CONNECTICUT Mason & Madison in New Haven has appointed Mary Gatzemeyer senior vice president and executive creative director. She was previously creative director with Ketchum Advertising in Pittsburgh, where she worked on the Digital Equipment Corp., Heinz and Nationwide Insurance accounts. The agency also has tapped Herbert Emanuelson as account manager, advertising account service and Kevin Dolan as account manager, public relations. Emanuelson most recently was with Webster Financial Corp. in Waterbury; Dolan previously served in the public relations department at Mintz & Hoke in Avon. Isabel Perkins-Lovejoy has been hired by Dorenburg Design in West Hartford as art director. The Kotchen Group in West Hartford has tapped Staasi Heropoulos and Carrie Greenland. Heropoulos, who previously served as public relations manager at The Yankee Candle Co., was named senior account executive. Greenland was named account coordinator. The agency also has promoted Nicole Radder to account executive from account coordinator. Mintz & Hoke in Avon has named Elizabeth Gross account executive. She had been an account manager at Group Four Design in Avon. MASSACHUSETTS Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos in Boston has announced the following promotions: David Fajardo to account executive from assistant account executive; Heather Lynch to assistant account executive from traffic assistant; Libby Dinkel, Amy Dupuis and Tom Cunningham to assistant account executives from account coordinators; Donna Nolan to media coordinator from the administration department; and Brit Leonard to account coordinator from executive assistant. Holland Mark Martin Edmund in Boston has hired Patrick D'Amico as brand director on its Polaroid business, Patty Lenz as brand supervisor, also on its Polaroid business, and Scott Doggett as senior producer. D'Amico was most recently vice president and account director on the Polaroid business at Leonard/Monahan, Providence, R.I. Lenz was with Pamet River Partners in Boston. Doggett was a producer with Heater Advertising in Boston. Pagano Schenck & Kay in Boston has promoted John Caley to art director. Caley joined the agency in 1996 as studio artist. Lindsey Winick also has been hired as traffic coordinator in the creative department. She previously served as a creative assistant at Arnold Communications in Boston. Steven Pascal has joined Donovan Group in Northborough as director of design services. Pascal most recently was creative director at Champagne/Lafayette Communications in Natick. AVFX in Boston has hired Ken Quigley as account manager. Quigley previously was with the total audiovisual services division of Caribiner International. Joseph Manning has been promoted to vice president of marketing at Lightolier in Fall River. He was named director of marketing in 1996. Boston's Museum of Science has advanced Kris Surette to senior media relations representative. Surette has been with the museum for more than two years. Suzanna Eshelby, manager of marketing and communications for the Massachusetts Interactive Media Council in Boston, has been awarded the 1998 PIC Achiever Award from the Boston Private Industry Council for her support in promoting the mission of the PIC. Eshelby has been with MIMC for two years. BBK Communications in Newton has promoted Liz Riley to business manager. She was most recently in the client service department. Christopher Norum has been named art director at Smith Korch, Worcester. Norum was previously art director and production coordinator at Addison Wesley Longman Publishing in Reading. CPS Direct in Woburn has named Kevin Collins new business manager. He previously worked for Matzell Richard & Watts in Boston. NEW HAMPSHIRE Eastlantic Advertising in Manchester has added Dennis Holland as graphic designer. Prior to joining the agency, Holland was promotions and marketing manager for Warren Distribution in New Jersey.
