Lipson Alport Glass & Associates, New York, named John Tanner a brand consultant. He was previously at the Coleman Group in New York and has served as a marketing manager at R.R. Donnelly in Hong Kong.
Sage Marketing Communications, Syracuse, added two staffers. Nancy Elander was hired as a senior media buyer; she previously held that title at another local agency. Karen Hewison joined Sage as an account executive; she was most recently advertising manager at Agway in Syracuse.
Media Logic in Albany promoted Arthur Levy to account supervisor.

Rochester-based agency Ice added four employees to its management committee: DebraLee McDonald, director of production services; Carolyn MaHarry, account group manager; Joel MaHarry, creative director; and Peter Platt, director of internet technology.
The Getko Group, Westbury, has promoted Marguerite Walton to sales manager from account executive. She will manage sales operations for the agency's Welcome Wagons in Los Angeles and California's Ventura and Kern counties.
Kiliaen Van Rensselaer was named chief marketing officer at Adaboy, a New York-based technology company that creates advertising messages within Web-based video games and virtual worlds. Van Rensselaer was previously at Colgate-Palmolive, where he served as brand manager for the Softsoap line of body cleansing products.
Andrew Lipsher has been named vice president, corporate development at BMG Entertainment, New York, after serving as executive vice president and partner at Maroley Media Group. Ira Sallen was promoted to senior vice president, human resources from vice president, human resources, worldwide music. He replaces Joseph Isenstein, who retired July 30.
Joseph Passarella has joined Multi-Video Group, New York, as chief marketing officer and partner. He was formerly senior vice president of marketing and advertising at the United Paramount Network.
Andrea Hyde joined Kenneth Cole, New York, as senior vice president of marketing. She was previously head of marketing at the French Connection Group.
1-800-Flowers.com, Westbury, named Jerry Noonan chief marketing officer, a new position. He was previously senior vice president, worldwide marketing at Polaroid.
Southern Living, New York, added two sales managers. Jack Cavanaugh was named New York sales manager; he had been an advertising sales representative at the magazine for five years. Steve Cummings was appointed national sales manager after serving as Southeastern advertising manager for six years.

Inkworks in Absecon has created an executive management team made up of four department heads: Wendy Graham, director of account management; Mary Moyer, production manager; Tina Rotondo, manager of finance and administration; and Mark Parker, vice president and art director.
CommonHealth in Parsippany has hired Daniel Teper as executive vice president, group company director, global services. He was previously president of Euro RSCG Worldwide's European health care group.
John Murray joined Coldwell Banker, Parsippany, as director of regional marketing for the Northeast region. He was most recently national marketing manager at Manhattan Bagel Co.

The Hal Lewis Group, Philadelphia, promoted three staffers: Donald Atkinson advanced to senior vice president, group account director from vice president, group account director; Rich D'Ginto moved up to senior vice president, creative director, art, from vice president, creative director, art; Andrea Garback was elevated to director of information services from research manager; and Yvette Bailey joined the agency as assistant traffic manager from Video Monitoring Services of America in San Francisco, where she served as production manager.

Omnicom promotion agency TLP, Wilton, named Jeffrey Negrin group account director. He was previously department manager, presence marketing at Mercedes-Benz of North America.

The Hartford Courant promoted Richard Medeiros to advertising director. He was previously display advertising director.
