NEW YORK Ed Galvez has joined TBWA/ Chiat/Day's New York office as executive producer, broadcast production. Galvez, who has worked at Foote, Cone & Belding, Goodby, Silverstein and Partners and Hal Riney & Partners, spent the last 15 months at Ammirati Puris Lintas in New York, where he worked on the GMC account. In his new role, Galvez will help director of broadcast production John Garland run the department. Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide, New York, added two staffers to its health and medical practice. Laura Silver was named senior vice president; she was most recently managing director of Ogilvy Healthcare at Ogilvy & Mather's London office. Kimberly Jordan joined the agency as an account director from GCI Healthcare, where she was an account supervisor. PENNSYLVANIA Elkman/Alexander & Partners, Philadelphia, promoted Steve DiMeo to vice president, associate creative director. DLD Advertising, Lititz, added two staffers: Andy Frease joined the agency as senior writer and Adair Witmer was named account supervisor and director of business development. Horsham-based LD&B Advertising added two staffers and promoted another. Pauline Gilday joined the firm as senior art director; she had held that title at Holton Namiotka Jones in Lafayette Hill. Allison Schiding was named copywriter; she was previously an associate copywriter at Stoner Bunting Advertising in Lancaster. Todd Brocker was promoted to digital Web producer from Webmaster, a position he held for two years. LD&B division Intellimedia-LD&B also promoted Catherine Lange to media planner/buyer from media assistant and media planner. Rick Thomas has been promoted to vice president of marketing, a new position, at Radio Direct Response in Broomall. He had been project manager since joining the company early last year. Walter Clarke joined Dudnyk Healthcare Group, Horsham, as a senior account executive. He had served as assistant product director at Johnson & Johnson/Merck. CONNECTICUT Andrea Obston Marketing Communications, Bloomfield, hired Chris Watts as an account executive. He had previously served as press secretary for the House Democrats in the Connecticut State Legislature. Fusion 5 in Westport has named Andrew Benett managing director, retail insight and innovation group. He was most recently at Bright Sun Consulting in New York, where he was a senior associate and founding member. Amber Dowling has joined Banyan Group, Norwalk, as senior art director. She was previously an art director at Saatchi & Saatchi, where she worked on such accounts as Toyota and Office Depot. Cronin and Co. in Hartford has promoted three senior executives: Elizabeth Vogt has moved up to executive vice president, director of strategic planning; Steve Wolfberg was elevated to executive vice president, creative director; and Kimberly Manning advanced to senior vice president, director of client services. North Castle Partners in Stamford named five employees partners. Adding the title are creative director Stephen Mark and Steven Garbett, account directors Beth Davis and Joanne McKinney and director of broadcast production Jack Blandford. Mediassociates, Danbury, added Glenn Bourque as an account executive. He was previously an account manager at Pro Media in Natick, Mass. Catherine Lombard joined Goodwick Associates in Newtown as an account manager after doing freelance work for the agency. FoxIntegrity Graphics, Windsor, added three staffers: Robert Arpaia joined the prep department, Robin Williams was hired as a press helper and feeder operator; and Scott Priest was named equipment support manager.
