Grey Advertising named Canadian ad veteran John Clinton president and chief executive of Grey Canada, in Toronto, effective mid-July. He was chairman of J. Walter Thompson Canada, where he worked for much of the past 20 years and most recently headed the Kellogg’s North America account.
Karen Kawahara, director of new business development at Margeotes/ Fertitta + Partners in New York, is moving to BBDO West in that same position. She will oversee new business efforts for the shop’s Los Angeles and San Francisco offices.
Hampel/Stefanides in New York named Ashley Alsup an account planner.
