NEW YORK

Steve Gordon has been promoted to director of digital services at Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners in New York. In his new role, Gordon oversees a 30-person department that handles studio, traffic and print production. He reports to chief operating officer Robb High. Gordon joined the agency in 1993 as studio manager and was appointed to his most recent position, vice president, studio director, in 1996.

Korey Kay & Partners has hired nine new staffers and promoted one. Phil Schatz has joined the New York agency as an art director, working on Moe Ginsburg, The Outernet and Stuart Weitzman; he previously worked at Angotti, Thomas, Hedge in New York. Karen Ritter has been named a senior copywriter, working on Moe Ginsburg, The Outernet and Stuart Weitzman as well; she formerly was on a creative sabbatical, working on a novel, among other activities. Christopher Stewart has been hired as a media supervisor; he most recently worked as media manager at Blue Dingo/Grybauskas Beatrice in New York. Anna-Lee Simpson has been named an account executive; she formerly worked at Arnold Advertising in New York. Richard Kintanar has been appointed an assistant account executive; he previously was account coordinator at Warwick Baker O'Neill in New York. Patrick Carolan has been hired as an account coordinator; he was formerly senior corporate legal assistant at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson in New York. Carline Darcelin has joined as an account coordinator; she previously worked at Interpublic Group of Cos. in New York. Sonya Laroia has arrived as an account coordinator; she had served as business analyst at Hewitt Associates LLC in Deerfield, Ill. Lena Shabus has been named an art director; she is a recent graduate of the Miami Ad School. Brian Alter has been promoted to vice president, media director; he was previously vice president, associate media director at the agency.

Kim Macalister has joined Myers Reports as chief operating officer. Before being hired by the New York company, she was executive vice president and director of total communications planning for J. Walter Thompson Worldwide.

Mezzina Brown & Partners has hired three new staffers. Steve Ratti was named director of business development at the New York agency; he most recently worked at Posnick & Kolker Advertising in New York. Christine DiLandro was hired as an account supervisor, responsible for managing the day-to-day operations for the Finlandia Vodka Interactive account, among other duties; she was previously a senior interactive account supervisor at The Sawtooth Group in Woodbridge, N.J. Joseph Baide has joined Mezzina Brown as an account supervisor, with responsibilities that include managing the day-to-day operations for the Goldman Sachs account; he was formerly an account executive at Tarsitano Creative in New York.

Advertising Women of New York has appointed longtime member Liz Schroeder executive director, replacing Terry Player, who retired after seven years of service at the New York-based organization. Schroeder, who most recently served as promotion director at DM News and its affiliated properties, has been a member of AWNY for 15 years and a member of its board of directors since 1993.

MRA in Syracuse has named Anne Matt account supervisor in its account services department, with responsi- bilities that include overseeing and im-plementing strategic planning and marketing-communications programs for various agency clients, including Telergy and MortgageNet Technologies. She previously worked as an ac-count supervisor with Grey Worldwide in New York.

Display Technologies has named Michael Christescu vice president of project management. Prior to joining the College Point-based company, he served as vice president of project management at Gage Marketing Group.

Nikon has appointed Tracy Mack-Jackson to manager, Internet programs in the company's communications de-partment. Before joining the Melville company, she most recently served as managing instructor for the entertainment arts department at the Disney Institute.

Comedy Central in New York has promoted Karyn Karmin to vice president, sales operation; she was previously director of traffic. In addition, the network has promoted Genise Jackson to senior counsel; she was formerly associate counsel, legal and business affairs.

A&E Television Networks in New York has made the following promotions. Andrea Gonzalez was elevated to vice president, affiliate ad sales. Antoinette Brown has risen to director, affiliate ad sales, Western region. Holly Dalton was promoted to director, affiliate sales, Northeast region. Carlos Baez was named director, affiliate sales, Southeast region. Jeffrey Johnson was elevated to manager, affiliate sales, Northeast region. Trisha Marshall was promoted to manager, affiliate sales, Western region. In addition, Victoria Shelton was named manager, affiliate sales, Southeast re-gion; she previously worked at Cable Advertising of Metro Atlanta.

The One Club for Art & Copy has named Tiffany Meyers managing editor of one. a magazine; she arrives at the New York-based organization from Johns Hopkins University Press, where she served as an assistant editor. In addition, Cara Brophy has been appointed membership coordinator at The One Club; she will head membership and organize special events, has a design background and is a recent graduate of Bloomsburg University.

Horizon Media, based in New York, has added two new staffers to the company's West Coast office. Dari Cox has been appointed a senior media buyer; she previously served as a media buyer at RNF Media. Wendy Suessman has been hired as an account executive; she formerly worked as a marketing manager, responsible for brand and creative development, at paymybills.com.

Howard Levy Design in New York has hired John Napolitano as design director. He previously had an independent design practice for the past 12 years and has served as consulting creative director for the Tobol Group, a regional business-to-business marketing firm, since 1989.

Buck & Pulleyn has hired two new staffers. Carol Burke has been appointed a public relations senior account executive; before joining the Rochester-based shop, she served as a freelance writer and public relations practitioner. Erin Dwyer has been named an editor/proofreader; she previously worked as an editor/proofreader at Saatchi & Saatchi/Rowland.

Linett & Harrison in Millburn has named Donna Jean Grant controller. She previ- ously worked as a corporate accountant for Raisio Chemicals U.S.

DVC Group has made known the following new appointments and promotions. Kevin Coogan has been named vice president, media director at the Morristown-based DVC Group; he comes to the company from Deutsch, where he held a similar position. Michael Lattmann has been appointed senior vice president, e-solutions consulting at DVCi Technologies; he previously worked as senior manager, business consulting practice, for Arthur Andersen LLP in Roseland, N.J. Kelleigh Johnson has been named an account executive at DVCi Technologies; she was formerly an account representative for Donovan Data Systems in New York. Lori Thompson has been promoted to vice president, management supervisor at DVC Communications; she was previously vice president, account supervisor for agency clients that included the CBS Television Network and AT&T. Glenn Garcia has been elevated to account supervisor at DVC Communications; he was most recently a senior account executive for clients that included Labatt USA, AT&T and the National Basketball Association.

The Pittsburgh office of Bozell Kamstra has hired 10 new staffers. April Bagley has arrived as an account coordinator in the account services department; she is a recent graduate of Indiana Univer- sity of Pennsylvania and interned in the Bozell Kamstra media department before starting full time at the agency. Jan Kochmanski was named a senior art director in the creative department; he previously worked as senior art director at Burson-Marsteller and then freelanced for a couple of months before joining Bozell. Mike Pschirer was hired as a print production coordinator in the creative department; he most recently worked as a customer service representative at Page Imaging. Sheley Samuels has joined the creative department as a copywriter; she recently taught children in Costa Rica before returning to Pittsburgh to pursue a career in copywriting. Tom Walker has been appointed a multimedia producer in the creative department; he previously worked at Dick Zdinak Associates. Jessica Fest has been named an account coordinator in the interactive department; she formerly interned at e'lan communications. Dan Gbur has arrived as an account manager in the interactive department. Melissa King has joined as a media planner/buyer in the media department; she most recently served as a research assistant at Marketplace Print.
