CONNECTICUT Earle Palmer Brown in Greenwich has promoted John Eccleston to partner and assistant general manager and Deborah Burns and Jim Hanrahan to vice presidents. Eccleston, who serves as senior manager on the IBM account, was previously senior vice president and creative director. Burns, who directs consumer and business-to-business marketing communications for clients Beepwear and Revlon, was previously account supervisor. Hanrahan serves as senior technical writer, focusing on the IBM business. North Castle Partners in Stamford has advanced Stephen Mark and Steve Garbett to associate creative directors. Mark previously served as senior copywriter; Garbett most recently was senior art director. Both worked on the Slim Jim, Star Market and Greenwich Time accounts. James Payne has joined Keiler & Co. in Farmington as associate creative director of new media. He previously served as director of new media at Tucker-Knapp Co. Cronin & Co. in Glastonbury has named Kathleen Ferrigno Scheinblum public relations senior account executive on the Connecticut Children's Medical Center, ConnectiCare and Connecticut Lottery accounts. MASSACHUSETTS Devine & Pearson Communications in Quincy has named Weddee Neufville assistant account executive and Jason Norcross copywriter. Neufville was most recently account coordinator for Colette Phillips Communications, and Norcross was previously copywriter for Hawley/Sandler. The agency also has promoted Stephanie Blicharz to assistant account executive. Cambridge Technology Partners in Cambridge has hired Sally Khudairi as solutions architect in its interactive group. Khudairi was with the World Wide Web Consortium at the MIT Laboratory for Computer Sciences, where she served as head of communications. Technology newspaper Computerworld in Framingham has appointed Sherry Driscoll vice president of sales for the East Coast region and Peter Oxner director of enterprise publications for the Eastern region. Driscoll most recently served as vice president of the Northern and Central regions; Oxner was previously Midwest strategic accounts sales director for CMP. Pamet River Partners in Boston has named Thomas Prior vice president of sales, Merly Kahn group director, Derek Otten database administrator and Cameron Bruns and JoAnna Foyle marketing coordinators. Prior was most recently vice president of sales of the Eastern region at Quote.com, where he opened the company's first sales offices in Boston and New York. Kahn will supervise the Chase Manhattan, Concert Communications and MCI accounts. She was previously vice president of marketing at AIM Marketing. Otten comes from Sprint Communications, where he served as network operations specialist. Bruns was an intern at Pragmatix Consulting; Foyle was an intern at Shandwick. Eamonn Conway has been hired as editor at Finish Editorial in Boston. Conway was with WBZ-TV. RHODE ISLAND Matt Ellis has been named news director of WPRI/WNAC-TV in Providence. Ellis was most recently executive producer of WCBS-TV in New York.
