TEXAS The Taylor Speier Group, Houston, recently added five people to work on the Conoco and Houston Lighting & Power accounts: media planner and buyer Kristina Bolin Early, formerly of GSD&M, Austin; planning specialist Lara Campbell King from CMA, Houston; senior promotions specialist Jim Squires, previously with Fogarty Klein & Partners, Houston; assistant promotions specialist Will G. Pettus Jr., formerly of NorAm Energy Services in Houston; and senior planning specialist Elizabeth Tindall from Steve Barnhill & Co., also Houston. Padget Printing, Dallas, appointed Rick Olsen its plant manager. Olsen recently served as press room manager at Anderson Lithograph in Los Angeles. Sandra Fulce was tapped as marketing manager at Medical City Dallas Hospital. Fulce moved from J.P. Everhart & Co. in Fort Worth, where she was advertising and public relations manager. M/C/C, Dallas, promoted Jimmy Richardson from senior art director to associate creative director. Richardson arrived at M/C/C in 1994 as art director. Houston Industries Retail Energy Group installed Richard Guha as president of its new retail marketing division. Guha was previously senior vice president of marketing for cable TV services at U S West in Englewood, Colo. Meltzer & Martin Public Relations, Dallas, hired account executive Kyle Rose, who was with Edelman Public Relations Worldwide in New York. Wendy Thomas has joined the staff of Selah Associates, Dallas, as media coordinator. Thomas was a broadcast negotiator with Publicis/Bloom, Dallas. Rhodes Stafford Wines Creative, Dallas, added account executive Kristine Bates and art director and designer Craig Crutchfield. Bates was a freelancer with Ogilvy & Mather, Houston, while Crutchfield joins from Team Design in Nashville, Tenn. Andrew Goolsbee was hired as director of marketing at The Camco Drilling Group in Houston. Prior to arriving at Camco, Goolsbee was manager of market development for Petrolite Corp.'s Petreco division, Houston. Laura Qui-ones joined The Laster Group Advertising, El Paso, as print production coordinator. The Nelson Group, Fort Worth, hired art director Karina Ceuterick, formerly a senior designer at Judy Wade & Associates, Dallas. Ceuterick also operated her own advertising agency in the early 1990s. Ryan Shackelford is a new art director at The Balcom Agency in Fort Worth. Shackelford formerly held a similar post with the in-house ad department of Williamson Dickie Manufacturing, also Fort Worth. Kat Meza moved to KRBE-FM in Houston as a sales account executive. Previously, Meza worked in the sales department of Houston's KHTV-Channel 39. Bromley, Aguilar & Associates, San Antonio, added field account coordinator Edith Salas and media buying coordinator Xavier Villalon. Salas will work on the Western Union account, while Villalon will be involved with clients Burger King, General Motors and Western Union. ARKANSAS Blackwood/Martin & Associates, Fayetteville, hired promotions assistant Maxine Williams and promoted Tommy Donoho to assistant copywriter. LOUISIANA Charles Allen IV was named business development specialist at Logan Marketing, New Orleans. Allen was the executive director of the Corporate World Cup of Golf, a division of New Orleans-based Burrus Investment Group. OKLAHOMA Tonya Brunk is the new account manager at Littlefield Marketing and Advertising, Tulsa. Previously, Brunk was account manager at Blackwood/Martin & Associates, Fayetteville, Ark. NEW MEXICO Rick Johnson & Co., Albuquerque, recently hired public relations account executive Larry Smith, account executive Davis Bruzzese and account coordinator Elena Hernandez.
