Motorola on Tuesday introduced a new tagline: “Intelligence Everywhere,” as well as a “manifesto” aimed at positioning the company as the center of digital convergence.

The statement, issued at the CTIA (Cellular Telecommunications & Internet Association) Wireless 2001 show in Las Vegas on Tuesday, is the first new branding work since Motorola gave Ogilvy & Mather, New York, its estimated $400 million account last September.

“Something big is happening,” the manifesto starts. “Houses are talking to computers.
