Donald Morgan has been named president of Barber Martin Advertising.

Morgan, who joined the Richmond, Va., agency in 2000 and was serving as chief operating officer, will oversee day-to-day functions formerly handled by co-founders Bob Barber and Bill Martin. The two principals, who now function as co-chairmen, will be involved in creative and business operations.

“Don has a unique combination of proven management and leadership skills,” said Barber.

Prior to joining Barber Martin, Morgan was an account group director and managing partner at WestWayne in Atlanta.
