Broadus & Associates in Atlanta was awarded the creative portion of the Ericsson multi-service division’s $1 million-plus trade account.
Sources said several undisclosed Dallas agencies participated in the review.
The division, a unit of Ericsson North America in Richardson, Texas, is introducing a Digital Subscriber Line (DSL), said B&A president Bob Broadus. DSL broadens band capacity, allowing existing telephone lines to serve multiple uses.
Broadus said a print campaign will break in U.S. and European high-tech trade publications as early as April.
Client officials were not available for comment at press time.
In the last month, B&A has tallied about $5 million in new business, including Ericsson, the $3 million Resorts USA account and the $1 million budget of Blimpie Fran-chisees of Georgia.
