NEW YORK Monster Worldwide said Monday that Jeff Taylor, founder of Internet employment site Monster, would be leaving in August to establish a new venture.
The company also unveiled its intention to provide “some seed capital” for Taylor’s new endeavor. Specifics of the venture remain confidential for competitive reasons, but “will not be employment-related and is still in early development,” per Monster.
In addition, the company and Taylor intend to enter into an agreement that calls for him to serve as an outside advisor to Monster on strategic issues and brand-building initiatives.
