NEW YORK Momentum, the event-marketing arm of IPG’s McCann-Erickson WorldGroup, restructured its North American management last week in an effort designed to give the leaders at its individual offices more clout, the agency confirmed.

Momentum worldwide CEO Chris Weil said that as a result, the positions of North American CEO and CFO, held by Mark Shapiro and Jerry Best, respectively, were eliminated.

Weil said that the general managers of each U.S. office will assume greater responsibility for their own P&L.
