NEW YORK Clement Mok, who has been serving in an advisory role at Sapient since relinquishing his chief creative officer title in early 2001, has been named global director of design planning.

In the newly created post, he will direct and shape the company’s digital marketing and Web design services as clients like Sony and Nissan step up their use of the channel. This is an expanded role for Mok, who has been serving as a member of Sapient’s Innovation Council.
