Modem Media has slashed 76 employees or about 10 percent of its global workforce, a company representative confirmed Monday. Thirty-six people were cut from the interactive shop’s Paris, Toronto, London and Hong Kong offices last week and 40 from the Norwalk, Conn. headquarters a few weeks ago. Unaffected were workers at the company’s New York, San Francisco, Sao Paulo and Munich outposts.

“We have realigned our internal structure to better serve our clients. [The realignment] revealed redundancies within the organization,” the company representative explained.
