CHICAGO Executives with the Minnesota Twins baseball team have scheduled meetings with seven local agencies—as well as Major League Baseball’s production outfit—to handle the club’s estimated $1 million advertising account, the team confirmed.

“When attendance doesn’t match expectations, you start looking at all aspects of your business,” said Patrick Klinger, vp of marketing at the American League team.

Vying for the account are Minneapolis agencies BBDO, One and All, Periscope, Spyglass Creative and Tanaka Advertising; Castaneda Williams in Edina, Minn.;
