Mitchell Joins DDB Tribe

NEW YORK-Wayne Mitchell, a vp of business development at SF Interactive, has joined Tribal DDB here as a group account director on BestBuy.com and Interliant.

He reports to Christopher Ross, general manager of Tribal DDB, New York, an interactive division of DDB Worldwide.

Mitchell brings "an abundance of diversified experience to the team," Ross said in a statement.

Mitchell also has worked at i-traffic, an Agency.com company where he directed business development and client service relationships with Beyond.com, CDnow.com and Staples.com. At Bell Atlantic Electronic Commerce he developed and marketed interactive services from 1989.

Tribal DDB Worldwide includes 21 U.S. and foreign offices and a staff of 500 people serving clients from Anheuser-Busch to Volkswagen.
