Milliken Carpets Seeks Ad Agency For Product Intro

Milliken Carpets & Rugs is looking for an advertising agency to launch a new floor covering in November.

The Spartanburg, S.C.-based manufacturer has issued invitations to a number of undisclosed area shops to create an identity campaign. Billings are undisclosed.

The selected shop will work with the carpet maker's La Grange, Ga., facility to develop a pilot program scheduled to begin in August.

Finalists will prepare a marketing proposal for a meeting with client officials and a participating retailer the week of May 20. Milliken will evaluate preliminary product packaging, in-store displays and video storyboards at that time.
