Miller Brewing Co. says it is shifting its $90 million network media buying account from Starcom USA here to MediaVest USA, New York, to “improve efficiencies.”

Both agencies are owned by Starcom MediaVest Group.

Starcom USA will continue to handle Miller’s local and Hispanic media buying and all media planning, a representative of the Milwaukee brewer said Tuesday.

The account shift comes after Kraft, a Miller sibling under parent company Philip Morris, recently consolidated its $800 million media planning and buying account at MediaVest to avoid a conflict with Starcom USA client Kellogg Co.
