State Appeals to High-Tech Employees in $7 Mil. Campaign
DETROIT–The state of Michigan is shifting its advertising efforts toward recruiting individuals, rather than entire companies, in a new $7 million campaign from Brogan & Partners here.
The Michigan Economic Development Corp. will launch the TV and radio campaign May 5, targeting technical professionals in life sciences, computers, engineering and other fields, said Jim Tobin, senior vice president of public affairs.
For the past several years, the department has focused on recruiting entire companies.
